Doing research on your chosen animal helps you to learn more about, and appreciate, the natural world that surrounds you. Try to find out as many interesting facts as possible about your animal in order to educate your classmates and promote enthusiasm for learning about wild animals. If you have seen your chosen animal in a safari park or in the wild, tell the class about your experience.

Activities:

  • When do people give presentations? What do you know or what can you remember about giraffes? Let's read Jack's presentation and see what information he gives about giraffes.

  • Answer these questions:
  1. What are Jack's favourite animals?
  2. Where do  giraffes live?
  3. Can they run fast?
  4. What do they eat?
  5. What's the title of Jack's presentation?
  6. What information does he include?
  7. What do you think of Jack's presentation?

 You are going to prepare your project. Look at the table and think and write an animal for each adjective. You can work in pairs.

Choose an animal you would like to write about. You can use the internet, books or encyclopedias to find out information about it. Answer the questions. Remind to use comparative and superlative adjectives. Include a photo or a picture to make your presentation more interesting.
