UNIT 2: MY PROJECT

Main goal of the project: Writing and presenting a holiday advert.

Activities:

Do you read adverts about holidays? Where do you find them? What information is usually included? Is it important for an advert to be interesting or excinting?

Let's read Daisy's advert and see if the information she included is the same as you mentioned.

Does it include different types of holidays?
Are they in different places?
Does it include the price?
What do you think is the most interesting part of the advert?
What do you think is the most useful part of the advert?
What do you think of Daisy's holiday advert? Why?

First let's start by doing the first activity, write and adjective for each place. You are going to prepare your project. Look at the table and think and write adjectives for each place describing that place in your region. You can work in pairs.

Think of places you would like to include in your holiday advert about your region. Answer the questions and use the answers to help with your research.

Remind to include some or all of these things and use comparative and superlative adjectives to make it sound more interesting and exciting. Remind to create a slogan for your advert.

Read the tips and write your project about a famous place or building of your region you would like Wei Xuan visits. Use this graphic organizer to put your information in order.
