5th grade project: HONEY BEES

 PROJECT HONEY BEES 🐝🐝🐝

This last two weeks 5th Grade students have been working on a project about honey bees to put into practice the new concepts they hace learnt from unit 1.

These were the learning objectives:

• The learn and use words and phrases connected to honey bees.
• To discuss how honey gets to our table.
• To describe a day in the life of a worker bee.

We discussed why bees are important to us because they help plants to 

make fruit and seeds and we also use plants as food. We talked about that we also use beeswax to make candles and furniture polish.
